Which K1200LT version do I have?

Confirm the version before ordering a module or requesting a software update. The three versions look broadly alike externally; the radio-control panel and original radio are the useful identifiers.

If your motorcycle has the silver panel shown here, it is a Facelift.

This panel identifies either a Pre-facelift or Hybrid motorcycle. The original radio determines which:

Pre-facelift: Dark grey control panel with an integrated display and an original BMW cassette radio.
Hybrid: Dark grey control panel with an integrated display and an original BMW CD radio.

The external bodywork is not a reliable way to distinguish the versions.
